Billing and Fees

At this time, we are only accepting private pay for services at Resolute Counseling. We are in the process of becoming credentialed with insurance companies and will update as soon as possible. In the meantime, if you need a superbill to submit to your insurance carrier, please let your therapist know.

Here are some of the great benefits to private pay for services:

  • Everything you work towards in your sessions with your therapist stay between you and your therapist. There is no need for reports or records to be shared with insurance companies

  • Insurance companies require official diagnoses in order to validate and process claims and with each diagnosis usually comes a list of treatment guidelines and expectations. With Self-pay, there is no need to be fitted with an official diagnosis unless it is to your benefit. We are free to work on anything you need!

  • You get to work with your therapist as much or as little as you need from the comfort of your own home. You will not be limited to session number or frequency requirements.

  • You get to choose the therapist that works best for you. “In-network” requirements often limit one’s ability to find a great fit for the client’s needs.

  • You get to work at your own pace on the topics you need without insurance requirements dictating your treatment.

$120 per individual session. $70 per group therapy session. $180 per couples/family session. $0 for 15-minute initial consultation.

Private Pay

Cancellation Policy

  • Your therapist prioritizes their scheduled time with you. We ask that you do the same in return.

  • 24 hours notice policy

We require at least 24 hours notice for any appointment cancellations. Any notice given with less than 24 hours notice will result in a full charge for the cancelled session.

  • Missed appointments

Any missed appointment will result in a full charge for the session

  • 15-minute policy

Your therapist will hold the first 15 minutes of your scheduled appointment to allow for late arrival. After 15 minutes, the session will end and a payment for the cost of the session will be processed.

  • Communication is key

We understand that life happens, and we are more than happy to accommodate extenuating life circumstances as best we can. Open and honest communication with your therapist will help reduce or eliminate the risk of paying a late cancellation or no-show fee.

Payments

  • Forms of payment accepted

We accept credit, debit, and HSA/FSA cards (*you are responsible for ensuring that counseling services are approved for your HSA/ FSA).

  • Payment information collection

During the intake process, payment information will be collected and stored in our secured electronic health records system for the duration of your time in services with Resolute Counseling LLC (there is always the option to change and update payment information).

  • Payment Collection

Payment for services are assessed at the end of each scheduled meeting time. In the case of missed appointments or late cancellations, payments will be assessed 15 minutes after the scheduled meeting would have begun.
